Privacy
What happens to a form.
This note describes the website as it works today. It is not a substitute for a board-adopted privacy policy.
What is collected
Forms ask for your name, email, and message, and sometimes a phone number, city, institution, and the programme you are asking about. Do not send medical reports, identity numbers, or payment card details. The form is not built to store them, and you should not put them in the message box.
Why
The relevant desk uses the message to reply. Membership applications, event interest, volunteer offers, and partnership enquiries are kept so the foundation can respond and, if you proceed, keep a record of that conversation.
Where it sits
Messages are stored on the website server in a file that is not meant to be public. A small number of administrators can read them. They are not sold and they are not placed on the public directory.
How long
Enquiries that do not become a membership or a partnership should be deleted when they are no longer needed to reply. The foundation will set a retention period in its formal policy. Until then, treat the inbox as an operational record, not an archive.
Your request
To ask for a copy or deletion of a message you sent, email ucfuttarakhand@gmail.com from the same address you used on the form.
What this site does not do
It does not run a payment gateway, it does not set advertising cookies, and it does not embed an analytics tool. A map of the Dehradun office area is loaded from OpenStreetMap when you open the contact page.
